Robertas Semeniukas Releases Epic Gem of an Album

Screen Shot 2020-02-21 at 4.54.50 PM

Robertas Semeniukas is an artist on the rise. One of Lithuania’s hardest working musicians, he brings to the table an eclectic sound that will entice your ears and soul. His newest album comes in the form of “Backstage Stories,” which was released late last year. The album is truly an artistic vision come to life as Semeniukas brings his masterpiece into the world. The record boasts a stunning 20-tracks, which is a breath of fresh air at every corner. Consisting of 12 instrumental pieces on the release, the album also features a covert of Mississippi Fred McDowell’s classic “You Gotta Move,” which he does great justice.

Semeniukas shares of the record:
“As a musician and guitarist I used to play and record with the different bands and artists for many years. But deep inside I carried a passion and vision that I would record and perform as a solo artist. It took me many years to finally pursue recording a solo album which would have plenty of guitar compositions and my vocal could be heard. For this album I was inspired by my guitar heroes – Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Jeff Beck, Slash, Guns N’Roses, Queen, Metallica, Van Halen, Led Zeppelin and many others.”

Within every listen, each song shows the talent of Semeniukas. Standout songs on the album for me include “ Icebreaker Comes To Town,” “Eat My Dust,” and “Negerki, broleli,” all which help you discover the full range of the artist and record.
Swirling guitars are perfectly arranged throughout the release, which brings a vibrant and intense sound to your ears.
For those who dig the guitar stylings of Joe Satriani, Jeff Beck, Steve Vai, Slash, Steve Stevens, and Eddie Van Halen, you’ll be head over heels for Robertas Semeniukas.
Turn it up loud and listen in!

Rob Alexander is an artist to put on your radar with his latest album “Being Myself.” A bold release for the artist, he brings to the table a mixture of adult contemporary pop-rock that will be lingering in your ears or days. The new album is nothing short of epic. On the release he features members of Elton John’s band, guitarist Robbie Angelucci and Kevin Taylor, with production by Gabe Lopez. On the release his signature sound comes to life as he leaves no stone unturned.

The songs are driven by heavy melodies and crooning vocals that will entice your ears with ever listen. The release features an epic 15-songs for you to dive into, and though they each have their own path and journey, the tracks come together to bring a cohesive and vibrant sound to your ears.

Standout tracks for us include the title track “Being Myself,” “Our Love Will Last Forever,” and “Never Gonna Let You Go.” The later, is a song that Rob had written after the passing of one of his closet friends in the past year.

Heartbreaking and heartfelt, it carries the record home. From start to finish there are surprises at every corner…just what are ears have asked for.

Fern is an artist to have your eyes and ears on in the New Year. Releasing at the end of last year her new, 6-song EP, “Resurrection Fern,” the collection of songs is a bold and beautiful direction for the artist.

With her captivating and emotive voice, she brings to the table a unique vision that is truly her own. Bringing her epic songwriting skills to the table, it’s a charming batch of songs that echo throughout. On the tracks Fern comes to life like never before.

Honest lyrics lay over a harmonious bed of music that touches the very heart and soul. Standout tracks on the record include “Siren“ and “Wayside“ which breathe life into the release. As each song acts as a story, there is no dull moment on the record, as Fern is set on keeping you entertained.

While her last record “Beyond the Trees,” saw the artist creating a big, multi-layered sound, “Resurrection Fern,” is stripped down, laid back and more organic in sound and feel. No matter what Fern touches, all that she produces in gold. We’re eager to hear more of Fern this year, as our ears are surely delighted.
